1. Purpose of this policy
HookSoft (the "Company") collects and uses users' personal information as described below in order to provide the game service "Yut Nori" (아리윷놀이, the "Service"). The Company values your personal information and complies with applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. This policy is available at any time via Settings → Privacy Policy inside the game.
If this policy is revised, we will give notice via email and/or in-game notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect (30 days for material changes such as the purposes of collection or third-party sharing).
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the Service, during sign-up, gameplay, purchases, and customer support.
- Provided by you at sign-up: email, password, identity verification data (CI)
- Collected automatically during use: in-game social data (e.g. friend/guild information), content used, features used, user actions, nickname; purchase records (order number, product name, amount, payment method, date); device data (OS, hardware/software version, browser type, device ID, language, IP address, cookies, store information)
- Customer support: email address, purchased product name, purchase date
Information is collected when you enter it directly with consent, through customer-support contact (web, email, phone), through separate consent forms at offline events, or generated automatically while using the app. You may control cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use the information
- Member management: confirming sign-up intent, age verification, user identification, withdrawal processing
- Providing and improving the Service (including ads), demographic analysis, usage analysis, and personalized features
- Preventing and sanctioning abuse: violations of law or the terms of service, account theft, fraudulent transactions
- Identity verification, purchases, billing, and delivery for paid services
- With separate consent: events, personalized ads, and other marketing/promotional purposes
- Statistics and analysis of usage records to improve the Service
- Building a safe service environment (security, privacy, safety)
- Pseudonymized data may be processed for statistics, research, and public-interest archiving; safeguards are applied to prevent re-identification
4. Sharing and outsourcing
We use personal information only within the purposes stated above and do not provide it to third parties beyond that scope without your prior consent, except where required for billing, where you have consented in advance, or where required by law or lawful investigative procedures.

5. Retention and deletion
Personal information is destroyed once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. When you delete your account, it is removed from the member database after a 7-day grace period, and deleted within 30 days of the withdrawal request, except where retention is required by law:
- Records on contracts and withdrawal of offers: 5 years (E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act)
- Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act)
- Records on consumer complaints and dispute resolution: 3 years (E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act)
- Records on display and advertising: 6 months (E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act)
- Access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
- Records of users sanctioned for abusive use may be kept for 1 year for investigation or member protection; withdrawn users' data may be kept 30 days for support follow-up
6. Your rights
- You may view, correct, or delete your personal information and withdraw consent (delete your account) at any time through the in-game menus. Deleting information required for the Service may limit your use of it.
- While a correction request is being processed, the information in question is not used or provided; if it was already shared with a third party, the correction result is notified to them.
- The Company does not collect or use personal information of children under 14.
7. Security measures
- Technical: security software with periodic updates, systems in access-controlled zones, encrypted passwords and important data, access logs kept for at least 1 year, IP/port access restrictions
- Administrative: minimal designated personnel, regular privacy training, database access-control management, secured handover procedures
- Physical: access control to server and storage rooms; documents and storage media kept locked

1. 개인정보처리방침의 의의
후크소프트(이하 '회사')는 이용자에게 아리윷놀이(이하 '서비스') 제공을 위하여 아래와 같이 이용자의 개인정보를 수집합니다. 회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 매우 중요시하며, 개인정보보호법 등 관련 법령상의 개인정보보호 규정을 준수하고 있습니다. 본 방침은 게임 내 설정 → 개인정보처리방침 메뉴에 공개되어 언제든지 확인할 수 있습니다.
회사는 개인정보처리방침을 개정하는 경우 시행 7일 전에 이메일 및 게임 내 공지사항을 통해 사전 공지하며, 수집·이용 목적, 제3자 제공대상 등 중요한 사항이 개정되는 경우 30일 전에 사전 고지합니다.
2. 수집하는 개인정보
회사는 회원가입, 서비스 이용, 상품 결제, 고객 상담 과정에서 기본적인 서비스 제공을 위해 필요한 정보만을 수집합니다.

- 이용 과정에서 자동 수집: 다른 사용자와 상호작용 시 만들어지는 친구·길드 정보, 소비한 컨텐츠·사용 기능·사용자 행동·닉네임, 구매 시 주문번호·결제 상품명·결제 금액·결제 수단·결제일, 기기에서 생성되는 OS·하드웨어/소프트웨어 버전·브라우저 타입·기기 ID·언어·IP 주소·쿠키·스토어 정보
- 고객센터 문의 시: 이메일 주소, 구매 상품명, 상품 구매일
개인정보는 이용자가 동의 후 직접 입력하는 경우, 고객센터 상담(웹·메일·전화), 오프라인 이벤트의 별도 동의서, 이용 과정에서의 자동 생성으로 수집됩니다. 이용자는 쿠키에 대한 선택권을 가지며 브라우저 옵션에서 설정할 수 있습니다.
3. 수집한 개인정보의 이용
- 가입 의사 확인, 연령 확인, 본인 확인, 이용자 식별, 탈퇴 의사 확인 등 회원관리

4. 개인정보의 제공(공유) 및 위탁
회사는 고지한 범위 내에서 개인정보를 이용하며, 사전 동의 없이 범위를 초과하여 이용하거나 타인·타 기관에 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 요금 정산에 필요한 경우, 사전 동의가 있는 경우, 법령에 의거하거나 수사 목적으로 법령에 정해진 절차에 따라 요구가 있는 경우는 예외입니다.

5. 개인정보의 파기
개인정보는 수집·제공 목적이 달성되면 파기됩니다. 회원탈퇴 시 7일이 되는 시점에 탈퇴되며 회원 정보 DB에서 즉시 파기되고, 탈퇴 신청 완료 시점으로부터 30일 이내에 삭제됩니다. 다음의 경우 명시한 기간 동안 보관할 수 있습니다.
- 불건전한 이용으로 물의를 일으킨 이용자: 1년(수사 의뢰·회원 보호 목적)
- 탈퇴 사용자 관리 및 고객 문의 대응: 30일
- 계약 또는 청약철회 등에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법)
- 대금결제 및 재화의 공급에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법)
- 소비자의 불만 또는 분쟁처리에 관한 기록: 3년 (전자상거래법)
- 표시·광고에 관한 기록: 6개월 (전자상거래법)

6. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법
- 이용자는 언제든지 게임 내 메뉴를 통해 본인의 개인정보를 확인·조회·수정하거나 가입해지·삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 서비스 제공에 필수적인 정보를 삭제하는 경우 관련 서비스 이용이 제한될 수 있습니다.
- 정정 요청 시 정정 완료 전까지 해당 개인정보를 이용·제공하지 않으며, 이미 제3자에게 제공한 경우 정정 결과를 통지합니다.
- 회사는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 수집·이용하지 않습니다.
7. 개인정보보호를 위한 기술 및 관리적 대책
- 기술적 대책: 보안 프로그램 설치·주기적 갱신, 접근 통제 구역 내 시스템 운영, 비밀번호·중요 데이터 암호화, 접속 기록 1년 이상 보관, 허용되지 않은 IP·포트 접근 차단
- 관리적 대책: 취급 직원 최소화 지정, 정기 보안·개인정보보호 교육, DB 접근권한 부여·변경·말소 관리, 보안이 유지된 업무 인수인계
- 물리적 대책: 전산실·자료보관실 접근통제, 서류·보조 저장매체 잠금 보관
